Painted as a gift for my fellow brush brother, and all around chum Mr. Tom Ales. A metaphor for the time spent in the solitary state of miniature painting. But really, it applies to many creative lifestyles. Tom has come a long way in his miniature painting career, I'd call it magic if I hadn't seen the tireless effort he's put forth.
