Finished! Haqqislam Expansion

Here's the final group I painted up for Waaaghpaca this weekend. I have admit I haven't had as much practice as I wanted to get in before this event but hey, I'll leave fully painted corpses on the table.

The Clumpcast!

My workout buddy also has a podcast! Trevor and I have been pumping iron as of late and he's been running a podcast for a while now. Following our morning session, with endorphins still running high, we rambled on about the world of miniature painting as well as some of the high and low moments that have come out of my personal experience. The cast focuses mainly on interviewing guests about their hobbies and passions so it varies. Also, sometimes it's us playing Zombicide, Black Plague (once).

Todays Mission

I just found out there's a painting contest at Waaghpaca this weekend. So I've pulled out some older pieces to revamp. Maybe these unsung heroes will get their praises afterall? Only one way to know and that's to show up and enter :)

The other task is to paint up an objective room. I'm supplying a table of scenery for the weekend and this is the final piece needed.

Almost there, it's now to the point I can start finalizing areas. The armor still looks a little bland so I'll add some dags or something to zazz it up a bit.

First step is getting that fine fine turquoise to come out juuuust riiiight.

Something for my local buddy Kevin as there has been some interest in combat patrol. Can I paint these before GW changes that? Satay tuned and find out!

Another figure form the Moonstone line. I'm liking these as they're kind of comedic which can be a nice break.
