WIP Jumpin Jaguars!

Or maybe smokin jaguars if you know anything about the game and grenades. Either way, the slow and steady beat of the Nomad drum continues. A little more purpose fully this time as there are some tournaments coming up. Next month and then again in January, which is the one I'm aiming to attend fully painted.

More on the Nomads soon! November 12th is the hard deadline for the next tournament. I'd like to have at lest half my army painted in time, which if I take a power week on, should be do-able. This weekend will be filled with more private coaching so stay tuned!

Creepin' While You Sleepin'

One more for the Nomads before I put them on freeze for a bit. Gencon is coming up and I have some projects I should probably turn my attention to..So, one more addition for Corregidor. Which I ran in full sectorial glory last night. This bandit (assault hacker version)  made the game for me, immobilizing a heavy infantry before gutting him in close combat, then, with blood on his camo, dispatched another infantrymen before meeting his bullet to the head..It's a very cinematic game :)

Intruder Alert!

A couple more options for my growing Nomad force. I'll be attending an  Infinity get together layer this month so I'm making a push to get a few more models done. Enjoy!

Cast of Bases

As I've said before, my personal project lately has been jumping into Infinity. More commonly the basing in Infinity represents a sci-fi urban setting or other similar themes, not so much wilderness, so I decided to do more than glue dirt to my bases. After spending some time building the bases for my first wave from plasticard a couple years ago, I had always thought I'd cast my own in the future. Our gaming group would also have something to fall back on. I put these together and with the casting abilities of Brother John to help me, I now have set of 10 bases at my disposal.

Showing them off is my second wave of Nomads. All prepped and now with bases, ready for painting. If I ever have time.

Yes, the keen eye will notice the Jaguar on the left, one base remains to be cast. Must have been switched after multiple copies ;)

I'll get back to the Trollbloods next time so, as always, stay tuned!

Finished! Aleph Dasyus

Another addition to my Nomads force. But you might call it a Dasyus from the Aleph faction. Well, I'm painting it red and calling her an intruder because they were sold out of intruders when I picked her up. Just wanted something to start playing with that could fill the slot for my intruder, I plan on having a lot of them anyway so the more the merrier :)

Currently I'm still packing away on the Mymera commission. I've also found a new podcast and ironic enough I started the four parter about Genghis Khan while painting an army of jetbikes. Throughout history and the imagined future, funny how things stay the same.

Check out Hardcore History if you have some time, I'm really enjoying it.

Stay tuned!
