Finished! 4th edition Dark Eldar Haemonculus

I painted this little lady up a couple days ago. Once I started I couldn't stop, a very simple and fun model to paint :)

She's off to the wilds of E-bay:

I don't know why Blogspot has changed the way photos are displayed. You've probably noticed when you click on the picture it pops up in the same window and you can't enlarge it. If you right click the image and open it in a new tab you can see how it's actually supposed to be viewed. That's the old way they'd display the pics. I don't know the reason for the change but I highly dislike it. Now instead of posting all the pictures in one strip, like I used to, I have to cute them up in photoshop and post 4 times (or more) the pictures to even have them close to the size I want them to be seen at.

Rant over.

  1. Very nicely done. I really like that rich Orangey tone youve done on the robes. What colors did you use if you dont mind? :)

  2. I Agee with Scotty that orange looks amazing. I have always shied away from using orange as a focal point for a model but if I could emulate that I would be a happy man.

  3. The orange tones are made from bestial brown and snakebite leather with bleached bone and white for the highlights and some scorched brown and black mixes for the shadows. I hope that helps and thanks for asking :)
